Reviews and Ratings
We recently spent a week at Barefoot Manta, and it was simply paradise! The beachfront accommodations were stunning, offering incredible views and a comfortable stay. The snorkeling was out of this world, and the dining options truly impressed us. While there were some minor issues with our booking and service, the staff's genuine kindness made our experience memorable. Overall, it’s a gem of a resort with a relaxed vibe, perfect for those who want to unplug.
Barefoot Manta Island Resort is a true tropical paradise with stunning views and beautiful beaches. My husband and I felt completely at home, thanks to the wonderful staff who made our honeymoon unforgettable. Although we had a couple of minor hiccups with bed bugs during our stay, the breathtaking location and amazing experiences, like snorkeling with Manta Rays, made it worth it. Just be prepared for some additional costs and package prices upon arrival.
I had mixed feelings about my stay. The island vibe was enjoyable, and the snorkeling was definitely a highlight. However, service was often slow, and the dining options left a lot to be desired, with food arriving cold at times. Additionally, I found the accommodation lacking in privacy and comfort with the tent setup. The costs associated with meals felt excessive and not worth the price.
My recent stay at the resort was incredible! The natural beauty of the island is breathtaking, with pristine beaches and fantastic snorkeling just steps away from my room. The staff made me feel completely at home, and the dining options were delightful. However, I did find the cost a bit high considering some of the service aspects that could be improved, especially around meal variety.
Barefoot Manta is a charming paradise with incredible snorkeling right at the beach, and the friendly staff made us feel like part of the family. The rooms, while spacious and clean, are essentially large tents which can be a bit noisy when it's windy. The food is home-cooked and tasty, but the meal deal felt a bit pricey. Overall, it's a fantastic experience, but the accommodation style might not be for everyone.
